Karsh Kale (pronounced Kursh Kay-lee), producer, composer & musician, melds a music of his Indian heritage, by having a modern electronic club music of his U.s. upbringing. Kale is creating the unique blend of Indian percussion by using techno music and drum & bass. Kale's compositions come typically strident, loudly, & thick sustaining energy; heavy on the percussion & extra instrumental than vocal. A la mode of Indian Fusion he is nearer to Talvin Singh or even Ananda Shankar than Bally Sagoo or Bill Laswell. Kale is prolific, on the face of it unforced to lend the h&, and drum, to near anyone from either Herbie Hancock to DJ Spooky.
